Definitely Superior Art Gallery presents 25 of Thunder Bay’s finest professional spoken word poets and singer songwriters performing for the public in a week-long series throughout the City of Thunder Bay-[120 individual performances]. Random Acts of Poetry now in its 13th year is an initiative to promote literacy, art and poetry in places where people live their everyday lives. See and hear the Definitely Superior Poetry Construction Crew as they randomly bring urban interventions to our public venues, schools and institutions, coffee shops, markets, radio, television, street corners, transit…your very home! Warning!…it’s Poetry Construction Season! Schedules will be available at the gallery and on facebook prior to the event for one of the largest poetry performances in Canada.

Some locations & performers still to be confirmed. Be sure to arrive at the beginning of time frames to be sure not to miss us. “Random Stops” are unconfirmed performances at possible performance locations. So, if you’re near a listed “random stop” at a certain time, keep an eye out for us!

“ROGUE ONE”ROAMING RAP

Part of OPEN STREETS & CULTURE DAYS!

• Multiple Stops ROAMING RAP NEAR DJ SHUB CONCERT (between 12:30 & 1:30pm)
RAP will start out performing along on Court St. for people arriving for DJ Shub, formerly of A Tribe Called Red. / A free City of Thunder Bay outdoor concert, starting @ 1pm, in the Matawa parking lot (corner of Oliver Rd & Court St).
Starting at Oliver Rd. and ending up at Bay St. – Come to find us!

• Multiple Stops ROAMING RAP- BAY ST. TO DOWNTOWN & BEYOND! (between 1:30 & 2:30pm)
Starting at Bay St, then heading towards Downtown PA.
Stopping on Park St./ near to DefSup.
