Definitely Superior encourages the submission of exhibition proposals from emerging, mid-career, and established artists. Our purpose is to encourage innovative contemporary artistic endeavours in all media. We also foster experimental cultural development in art production, particularly those exhibitions that are politically and socially engaging. Furthermore, Definitely Superior welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with other arts and community organizations, as well as curators.

As a member of ARCCO, the gallery is committed to paying artists at the current CARFAC fee schedule for all selected exhibitions in our Main Programming. The gallery covers exhibition related costs (installation, invitations, mailing, opening reception, artist travel, hotel, talks, workshops, per diem) as well as assisting with the cost of shipping. The Programming Committee, composed of artists and curators who are members of the organization, selects the exhibitions.
