The Die Active Art Collective is jumping into summer with fresh, free art workshops every second week! Next up is a CLAY WORKSHOP.

You always wanted to try pottery. You are certain it will be difficult but rewarding. You just never had the chance. UNTIL NOW.

DieActive’s 2nd workshop is soon! On Wednesday May 29th, we will be showing you how to prepare clay for throwing and sculpting! This is a great way to learn about clay for anyone interested but is not sure how to start! Taught by the short and spicy Katie Beda! Leena Beda

The workshop will be held at 4A Court Street, in our studio above Sweet North, room 19! Drop in between 1-5pm. Choose whether you would like to learn how to throw clay using the pottery wheel or learn hand techniques to sculpt and build!

All supplies provided including clay, wheel, foods, tools and artists to instruct you!

 

The Die Active Art Collective is in its 11th season and is aimed at mentoring and supporting new artists while creating a unique and contemporary art workshops, graffiti murals & alternative publications. Its purpose is to mentor young/ new artists on the artist-run model of working as a collective by encouraging them to bring a series of practical collective projects into fruition. The program is directed towards youth ages 15-30ish.
