Definitely Superior Art Gallery invites everyone to the 33rd Anniversary DefSup Members + Die Active exhibitions featuring over 125 artists. This diverse annual exhibition always draws out the best and most vibrant of art and audiences, anything can happen. Come out and help us celebrate the wondrous artists who create and recognition of Definitely Superior Art Gallery’s 33 year history of artistic excellence in Thunder Bay & NWO respectively producing and presenting over 1,150 exhibitions, events, activities and supporting 28,500 contemporary artists in that time. Also featuring CREATOR’S PROJECT 7 International Video Screenings: interviews and artworks of artists, with juxtaposed methodologies that push the limits of art, culture and interaction. Featuring 4 International artists interested in collaboration and unity by ignoring preconceptions, and transcending genre definitions. TeamLab-Interdisciplinary Artists-[Tokyo-Japan], Refik Anadol-[Istanbul-Turkey/USA], Ryoichi Kurokawa-[Osaka-Japan/Germany], Ryoji Ikeda-[Gifu-Japan/France] It all starts Friday & Saturday October 8th + 9th with an exciting weekend event series involving 3 gala opening receptions featuring a ferocity of art, musical guests + coinciding multimedia performances. Lots of exquisite super cute birthday cupcakes and catered refreshments, champagne…and oh so much more! Exhibitions run until Dec.11th during regular gallery hours, Tues-Sat, 12-6pm. • Vaccine Passports not required: Museums and Galleries are not included in the Ontario Government mandated list of locations that require a vaccine passport for entry. Masks and Social distancing will be enforced along with Screening and Contact Tracing.
